Krish now focuses his effort on helping veteran amputees get into mountaineering and has successfully led them to the summits of Kilimanjaro, Mera Peak, Mount Kenya and Mont Blanc – with Elbrus and Aconcagua already pencilled in for the not-to-distant future. He has just come back from yet another world first achievement leading the first above the knee double amputee safely to the summit of Mount Everest in what is considered as one of the most deadly years Everest has ever seen.

This project reflects Krish’s personal life ambition since leaving the British SAS dedicating his life to supporting others to achieve their goals and transcending their limitations. I have guided a PTSD, Blind, Deaf, Double amputee above the knee, and Parkinson’s sufferer to Mont Blanc and Mera peak’s summits and taken double amputee veterans to summits in The Alps, Africa the Himalayas. In 2023 I will lead a double amputee’s first attempt to summit Mount Everest.

Krishna Thapa says Nepal has so much potential, but the country has not been able to utilise it. “I was fortunate enough to learn from the best and now I want to share what I know with a younger generation of adventure lovers in the country so that Nepal can realise its potential and become a key destination when it comes to skiing in Asia,” says Thapa. They were there for one thing – learning the basics of skiing at the Great Himalayan Ski Visit from one of the best in the trade, Krishna Thapa. The 15-year-old Krishna justified his selection by finding the back of the net in the team’s 3-1 win over a combined team comprising players from I-League just two days before leaving for Malaysia.
