Ireland coach Joe Schmidt claims his side gave New Zealand”a leg up” within their 46-14 World Cup quarter-final defeat by the winners in Tokyo on Saturday.

“We gave them too many axis points in the match , we turned the ball and missed opportunities to get into their zone and really put some stress on,” said departing Ireland coach Schmidt.
“They’ve got ball runners, guys who tactically control the match quite well.”

Justin Haley has won the rain-shortened Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway, his first in NASCAR’s top level.
